Installation

In order to install SUMMA just copy the summa_plugin in the plugins directory of your GATE distribution. The plug-in is provided in the download page of this site. Once this is done you can open GATE and start using the plug_in. In order to use SUMMA from your Java program you will need to import the SUMMA jar, the GATE jar and associated GATE libraries. You will need to create resources in your java program as you do with any other java application using GATE. This means that you will need to register the SUMMA plugin creole before invoking any SUMMA component (e.g. Processing Resource) in your program.
